How to disable FTP for a single account

You can disable FTP for a single account using the steps shown below:

# ll /etc/proftpd/username

# mv /etc/proftpd/username /etc/proftpd/username.bak

Restart FTP Service

# /etc/init.d/proftpd restart

Then try to login to the account. You can’t login to the account.
